Assigned to collection, analyses, management and conservation of archaeological data, the computing applications provide, to users, works implements and digital support in his investigations. The main services that offer ArqueoLine s.l are databases, record systems, computer graphics, archaeostrstigrsphy and the archaeological drawing.

Digitalization of archaeological remains
Intend like a whole of organize data, the database provide a data access form different applications with works the client (for example using the ODBC protocol) at the same time that, concentrate all the available information of the archaeological site in one unique place, offer the management and edition adapt implements.
Through a general database structure, this adapt to particularities and needs of the archaeological sit of destiny. Around this structure develop little applications that automate works like edition and little calculations; recounts, percentages, etc…
So, the final user disposes of a computer implement which, in centralize and global form, it meets the necessary administration, management and exploitation elements of the archaeological data.

The record system in archaeology is the latest in the application of new technologies. ArqueoLine proposes the 3-COOR system, a whole of elements thought and relate for computerize, mechanize and automate the taking of data filed.
The system, totally cordless, it is composing in two parts: the “client” and the “server”. In the first, the excavator registers the data that the second recuperate, verify and store in a database. All this transactions are effectuated in real time. At the end of the record process, it is impress a label with the object data.

The computer graphics is a virtual representation technique that every day gets more importance by his high scientific and popularizing value. In archaeology, by the destructive character of the forms (and constructive in knowledge), the virtual representation is the possibility of “revising” the place and realize studies before unthinkable, above all by the difficulty that suppose the manual manage of high data quantities.
The development of computer programs for specific studies it is orientate towards the use of adaptable tools for the data analyses. So, the archaeostratigraphic study of an archaeological site thanks to the position of the coordinate objects, it is an important advance to recognize the frequentation period of an archaeological site and the elaboration of a cultural stratigraphy of the deposit.
The 3D restitution of a territory or the drawing fields transcription in digital format suppose an advance in the representation and popularizing of the objects found, the anthropic structures and the topographic characteristics of a zone.

Thanks to the 3D coordinates of the archaeological objects it is possible to restore his position and analyze, vertically in a section, the occupation levels sequence or, horizontally in a plan, his association and relation with the different structures, evident or latent, presents in an archaeological site. The computer programs ARCPROF (for a 2D representation of an archaeological space) and ARCDES (for a 3D representation of an archaeological space) allow the management of great data quantities for obtain the sections and plans where the objects are represented. The study of this documents allow to prove the presence of different occupation levels as representation the accumulation of materials associates to those occupations.

| RECORD | PROBLEMATIC | TECHNIQUES | RESULTS |
|---|---|---|---|
| Any archaeological coordinate material | Archaeological palimpsest | Archaeostratigraphy | Diachronic series of the occupation levels |
| Homogeny sedimentation | Plan representation of the objects level |
An important aspect in archaeology are the drawing objects (lithic industry, bones, etc…) as the representation of the occupation soils, that allow, in an easy way, visualizes and localizes the material accumulation and realize a fast reading of the evident and latent structures.
